Every moment in our View Suite Sauna felt like a dream! With floor-to-ceiling windows, we soaked in breathtaking views of the snow-capped landscape and even spotted the northern lights from the comfort of our own room. Plus, the private sauna was the cherry on top after our adventurous days in the snowy wonderland!

We had an amazing time in our View Suite with Sauna, using the private sauna every day was a real treat, and we loved relaxing by the open-air bath. It's such a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring, just note that the room heating instructions could be clearer. 😊

star arctic is on top of the kaunispaa fell, perfect for seeing the aurora and offering breathtaking views. it's close to the ski centre, making it easy to hit the slopes. our aurora cabin was super clean and comfy with amazing views day and night. breakfast had so many delicious options!

Great stay with room for improvements

We enjoyed our family stay over six nights. The View Suite with Sauna was perfect, but rental prices for snow gear felt a bit steep. Dinner was excellent our first night, yet our last dinner was disappointing. It's worth trying the restaurant early in the season!

Couples escape to a dreamy winter retreat

Spent two nights in the aurora cabin and it was captivating, the huge glass windows gave us stunning views of the northern lights while we relaxed in bed. The staff were super friendly, especially Roya at the reception who made us feel right at home.

It was quite pricey, but for the experience we had, it was acceptable.

I loved the stunning views from my Aurora Cabin. The cleanliness of the cabin stood out. everything felt fresh and cozy. Breakfast offered many options, although it didn’t open early enough one day due to my flight schedule. Staff were friendly and made early check-in a breeze, especially after a long flight. The private sauna added a luxurious touch. However, the room lighting seemed dark at times, making it challenging to navigate. I noticed that the mattress was a bit lumpy, which made for an uncomfortable night. In terms of dining, while the first night’s restaurant experience was excellent, it didn’t meet the same standard on another evening. Overall, I enjoyed the location for its aurora viewing but felt the price of some rentals, like sleds, was quite high.

Just a good pick for a fleeting pause in Saariselka with great value-to-price ratio. We really appreciated the quick response when the reception staff arranged a new taxi for us. Be sure to check the heating instructions before you settle in.
